I have found just the one article/ad for skating, so skating may have been for just one season.
H. D. Ruhlman went on to manage/lease many rinks, including: Palace Garden (1927), Newark Roller Rink (1930), Palais De Danse Hall in Buckeye Lake Park (1931), Summerland Beach Rink (1931), Winter Garden (1932) and more.

Timeline:
1926 - Dance Hall opened.[2]
1927 - Opened for skating.[1]
1934 - 1985 - Big Bear Super Market.[3]
1985/6 - Demolished to make way for the Riverwatch Tower highrise.[3]

Crystal Slipper Ballroom to be built.

Under construction.[3]
